Suspension of Federal Government Services - Tuesday, October 06, 2020
SPARQ is currently unavailable due to the suspension of Federal government services. It will be available again when the Federal government resumes operations. Please note, the Charter Oak Group and BCT Partners are available to provide assistance that does not require the use of SPARQ. 
Q4 PY15 data on InfoSPACE - Thursday, September 22, 2016

The Q4 PY15 data are now available on InfoSPACE.

Persistent Unemployment 2013 – 2015 Table - Wednesday, May 11, 2016
For newly enrolled participants on or after January 1, 2016, you must use the new table to receive credit in the Most-in-Need measure on the PY15 QPR.

For any existing participant who was enrolled prior to January 1, 2016, you will receive credit in the Most-in- Need on the PY15 QPR if either the new table or the old table (2012-2014) supports the factor.

The table for 2011-2013 should only be used by data validators. Validators should refer to the Data Validation Handbook for details.

SPARQ 6.9 - Friday, March 11, 2016

SPARQ Release 6.9 has been implemented.  Details about the contents of the release are available here

 Because of the new edits added to SPARQ in Release 6.9, a number of users have had questions about editing organizations and contact information.  Instructions are available in the SPARQ Online Help System.

PY15 Quarter 2 QPRs - Friday, February 05, 2016

The PY15 Quarter 2 QPRs are final.

PY15 Quarter 2 close - Friday, January 29, 2016
The PY15 Quarter 2 close is scheduled for the first week in February. Here is the detailed schedule:
- 11 PM EST, Monday, February 1 – All PY15 Quarter 1 data should be entered into SPARQ.
- Morning of Tuesday, February 2 – All grantees should take a final look at their DQRs. If any cross-grantee errors have arisen, please notify SCSEP Help at once so that they may help resolve these issues. It is strongly recommended that no additional data be entered. Please use this time solely to resolve any remaining errors.
- 12 noon EST, Wednesday, February 3 – SPARQ will close for the processing of the QPRs. Any data entered after noon on February 3 will not be reflected in the PY15 Quarter 2 QPRs.
SPARQ Release 6.8 - Tuesday, December 08, 2015
Release 6.8 has been implemented. Please note there have been issues on the DOL servers recently. As a result, you may experience some slowness with certain functions.
PY15 Validation of PY14 Data - Thursday, December 03, 2015
The sample for the PY15 validation of PY14 data is available. The updated version of the Data Validation Handbook will be available by mid-December. In the meantime, data validators can use last year’s handbook to begin work on this year’s validation efforts. The deadline for PY15 validation of PY14 data is Friday, June 3, 2016.
SPARQ Release 6.8 - Thursday, November 12, 2015
Release 6.8 has been implemented. Please note there have been issues on the DOL servers recently. As a result, you may experience some slowness with certain functions. In addition, the extracts are not available currently. The Extract Files utility still appears under "Monitoring" for users with a role of grantee administrator; however, if those users try to submit a request it will not work and will cause additional strain on the system. Users will be notified when the DOL server issues have been resolved, and it is safe to use the Extract Files utility.

The PY15 Quarter 1 QPRs are final.
